I had the chance to work with Mathew and his team at Invenio shortly after stepping into a new role with multiple technical positions to fill. Two of the founders (a health data scientist and a product engineer) had parents managing multiple medications for chronic illnesses rely closely on pharmacists for care. With the rise of online pharmacies and automated dispensing, they saw the need for pharmacists. As the most accessible yet underutilized healthcare professional, there is an opportunity to shift beyond the traditional retail model to provide more healthcare services for.
Shortly after they would be introduced to their third founder, a pharmacist with first hand experience in the barriers of delivering clinical services in a community pharmacy setting.
Together they are driven by this transformational healthcare opportunity and they are looking to enable the future of pharmacy practice through MedMe.
